The Client

My client is a joint venture between a large European-based construction company and a developer in the Middle East. They need to urgently recruit a number of experienced Planners for a major rail project in Qatar.

The Role / Person

As Senior Planner/ Planner your responsibilities will include but not be limited:

* Tender and delivery planning
* Scheduling works across all build packages using Primavera P6
* Reviewing all package baseline schedules including resource planning and cash flow
* Production of weekly programme reports
* Impact analysis for project delays

You will already be working in a similar Planning role on a US$ multi-million/ billion project. Ideally you will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant Civil Engineering/ Construction discipline and will have between 5- 10 years experience in a similar Planning role. Previous experience on rail / metro / tramway / LRT projects is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL - additionally those who have worked on major international rail projects will be shown preference. Experience using Primavera P6 is also preferred.

You will need to be a responsible, reliable individual with excellent communication skills and vast experience in a multi-cultural environment. You will have shown loyalty and commitment to previous employers and your CV will demonstrate a previous track record in your field of expertise.
